Just put together today. Before ordering, I checked out several exercise bikes in retail outlets. Couldn't find this model, but saw similar "air bikes" at Sport Authority Dick's, Sears and really liked them as a class, ended up ordering this Stamina model from Hayneedle. This bike is similar to the popular Schwinn air bike which costs about $175.00 more. A few differences. The fan is about 2/3rds the size of the Schwinn, the length of each bike is about 50 inches. The total weight of the two bikes (this one is lighter) is about 10 pounds difference. Also this has a plastic fan, the Schwinn is metal. It is inside a heavy steel cage, so should be no problem. Unlike some other brands does not throw a lot of air in your face. It does generate plenty of air current, enough to keep you cool, once you pedal harder but not so hard that it gets annoying.

Bought this for a cardio workout at home when I miss the gym. I am a 6'0" guy 220lb and it held me comfortably. The seat was a little rough, but I have yet to sit on a comfortable seat in my years of using multiple gym equipment. The instructions were easy to follow but the tools were very cheap. The only reason I'm giving this a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is because of the tools. The bolts are supposedly 14 mm so I decided to use my good quality tools so I can make sure its tight. I use 14 mm as it states and well it's too big, I used 13 mm and too small. So I guess it's 13.5 mm. So since I had to use the tools they gave me, I had a hard time making sure everything was tight. Otherwise that, this is an awesome product.

I purchased the Stamina - Delux Air Bike 15-1100. We have put about 50 miles on the bike and it is quiet when the bolts stay tightened. There is a problem that the entire assembly from the pedals to the wheel that turns the belt attached to the fan assembly will not stay tightened. I followed all of the directions and the assembly diagrams to assemble the bike, but constantly have to tighten bolts. If the assembly gets too loose, it makes a loud noise when you pedal the bike. The seat is not very padded. I am looking for a padded seat to put over the original seat.

I chose this bike over the Schwinn Airdyne, because other reviews said it was quiet and it costs about $250 less than the Schwinn Airdyne. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy the Schwinn. I have a lot of experience in assembly of various purchases and this is the first that I have ever encountered that has bolts and nuts that continue to become loose regardless of the lockwashers used to prevent that.
