The Kit is just what I needed to start my at home workout program. Can't say enough about the lay out of the workouts and the bands. I also recommend the Backsmart fitness Plan, I have been using both of these workouts and Green's other books and making great progress!

I chose this product over the gazillions just like it for two reasons: Bob Greene's name and the fact that it had illustrated exercizes.
Bob Greene's name didn't pan out-- these bands arent any better than all the rest and the kit isn't any higher quality.
Which brings me to the major flaw-- the illustrated exercizes were obviously not reviewed by anyone who exercizes!
The illustrated exercizes don't tell you which exercizes work what muscles. Sure you can figure some out.... but not all of them. I'm moving my arms. Fine. Am I working my shoulders? My biceps? What muscles?? I have to wait for the burn, and I can't be sure I'm doing it right.
AND these exercizes are printed on both sides of the same paper@! How rude! So, in other words, if you plan on taping up the paper and working out looking at the page you have another think coming. You have to flip the page over between exercizes.

I loved Bob Greene's book and find his sensible approach to fitness and diet work well for me. But I was disapointed in this purchase. The exercise bands seemed very short and hard to use. There was not enough information included with the bands. One exercise has you step on the middle of the bands and hold an end in each hand, then raise your arms. Well, I am nearly 6' tall and I felt like I was going to snap the bands. I literally could not lift them high enough to do the exercise. I also could not find a number to call to ask about the problems I was having. I emailed the company that manufactures the bands, but they never responded. So, the bands remain unused and I have moved on to free weights. I feel like it was a waste of money.
