Summary: Great pedal 2007-12-12
Comment: I bought this pedal for my bodycycle stationery bike. It fits well, it looks good and I like that its capable of using spd shoes or regular sneakers. I would recommend this to anyone. What a great product!!!

Summary: Beware of customer service 2007-11-21
Comment: I am a spin instructor at my schools gym and all of the bikes we have use these pedals. They are a good concept but have some issues. For one thing, my spd shoes didn't fit the spd side of the pedal, so I had to use my look style shoes. Second, the look pedal is very loose and I'm not sure how to tighten it, which brings me to my main point and reason for writing this review. The customer service for these pedals is atrocious. A screw came out of the back of one of the pedals at the gym I teach at, so I called Schwinn to get information about how to repair it instead of purchasing a whole new pair. They told me that the pedals are not actually made by Schwinn but only carry the Schwinn logo so they therefore have no documentation on the pedals. Furthermore, I was told that they don't even have the name of the company that manufactures the pedals, which seems ludicrous to me. I was told that there was really nothing they could do and that my best course of action would be to buy a whole new set. Pretty convenient that the only solution is to send more money their way.
