About Exercise Bikes Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.

I bought this bike about a month ago and have been really pleased with it. It's very sturdy without being overly bulky and fits nicely in a small corner of a room. I haven't ventured into the more challenging programs yet, but it's obvious it can do a lot. Set-up was pretty easy, too, and the bike includes pretty straightforward instructions with well-labeled tools. I would definitely recommend this bike.

I purchased this product 3 weeks ago. It is very easy to assemble taking only 30 minutes. Schwinn even included all the tools you'd need. So far I love this bike! The pedal motion is extremely smooth. The seat (which is nice padded) and handlebars adjust to fit anyone in mere seconds. With 16 levels of resistance at the touch of a button, it is easy to gradually increase the resistance without overdoing your workout. The preset programs are a nice set it and go feature if you don't want to have to think about manually changing the resistance yourself. Schwinn did a great job of keeping the design compact, yet very ergonomic!

I was surprised how solid and sturdy this bike is. The assembly instructions were very easy and user friendly. This is as smooth, solid, and has similar features to the Life Fitness cycles I've used at the gym. It is more quiet than the Life Fitness cycles.
