The bike is outfitted with a 26-pound flywheel--as compared to traditional 48-pound flywheels--that lets the user start at a lower resistance and gain momentum easier. The low resistance level makes this bike a particularly good choice for rehab and geriatrics. To increase or decrease the resistance, the user merely turns the tension knob (the resistance level is shown on the easy-to-ready color and letter scale). The electronic meter, meanwhile, displays such details as heart rate, time, speed, and distance.
