UPDATE (1/29/2012):
Solved the noise problem by placing a length of rubber between the back of the seat and its cover. Now the bike is 100% quiet :).

I said I would update in a month, but I am loving this machine so much, I just had to tell the world.
- It continues to be super quiet (yay!) and both of us are on this bike 20 minutes, 2 - 3 times per day. The back of the seat makes a dull noise, but not all the time. I think it's the plastic cover. We haven't yet tried to correct this because it really doesn't bother us much.
- The fan works fine, but makes this Trrrrrrr noise that can be a bit irritating. The good thing is that the speakers produce a volume loud enough to drown the fan noise.
- The heart rate isn't very accurate so I bought a great watch (Mio Venture), also available here, that gives me accurate heart rate and calories burned (it has a countdown to 3500 calories feature that's very,...Read more
