Summary: Solid bike, but lacks on-board computer and ergonomics 2005-12-10
Comment: I'll be the first to tell you that this bike is built SOLID! I'd say it's about 90% solid steel, and apparently that's why the price tag is unreasonably high. This bike is a spinner, not a typical exercise bike. If you plan on doing crazy-fast stand-up riding with occasional seated spinning, then this is a decent purchase. Otherwise, run away from it and purchase an exercise bike from True, Endurance, LifeFitness, or other high-quality brand.
There is no on-board computer, although there is a computer wire which will allow for a future add-on (not available yet from Multi-Sports). The seat is wicked hard on the butt and prostate, and that will probably be the first thing you replace (with a better after-market seat). The seat position adjusts, but it never seems to line your knee up correctly with the axel, for seated biking. So, I walk away with really sore knees. As this bike is a spinner, then it's a solid bike with a high price tag. But, I was hoping to get a non-plastic exercise bike and spinners seemed to be my only option. I thought they'd be similar to a standard exercise bike, but I was wrong. I still give it 3-stars because it's my fault that I'm trying to use it for something it wasn't really designed for. But, it's 2-stars short due to high price, no on-board computer, junk seat, and poor seat adjustability.
