First you should understand that this is a spinning bike. I would not recommend any spinning bike unless you have taken spinning classes and know what you are getting into. This is not a pedal-along-while-watching t.v. exercise bike. If done correctly, you will be out of breath and sweating profusely by the end of your thirty to forty-five minute workout. This is as it should be.
I have been an instructor of spinning in a local gym for the last eight years. Recently, due to time constraints, my wife expressed an interest in getting a spin bike for our home, and we begin looking for one. We first started shopping for a used Spinner Pro or Spinner NXT, because these are what are used in the gym,but none ever showed up in our area. This is my first indoor bike that I have ever owned, and I have been using it daily for the last two week. It is awesome. The resistance levels are perfect and the speed seems pretty accurate. At first, the handle to seat spacing was awkward, but after some adjustments, I got it more comfortable. In all, it took my wife about 2 hours to put it together one evening. For a non-serious rider, this thing is perfect for me.
