I ordered the 910sr because of its cost on amazon ($623 vs $899 everywhere else I searched on internet) and features. I spent about 2 weeks over the period of one year looking at various recumbent bikes. Based on the specifications provided for this bike it seemed much better built than the Schwinn and Nautilus bikes I first came across. I admit that I didn't go to fitness stores because I just didn't have the time. I did not look at or get a feel for how well different recumbent bikes designed for home use performed. However, I have been using recumbent bikes at the gym and pretty much knew the configuration that I wanted. This bike was a perfect fit. I am not a thin person nor am I short so it was important that this bike had a weight rating that would work for me. This fit the bill perfectly.

Recumbent exercise bikes are much less common than their upright versions so there are fewer makes and models to choose from. Most of them were built by gym equipment manufacturers for commercial gym use. They have heavy duty frames, seat/back adjustments and are priced out of the range most families and cycling enthusiasts can afford. Diamondback's 910Sr is the exception. It was designed by a bicycle manufacturer for the home market and is priced accordingly.
The 910Sr comes partially assembled. The owners manual contains instructions and illustrations to help you complete the job. Hardware is neatly packaged and clearly labeled. I'm fairly handy with tools but it still took me some two hours. It could have gone faster but the massive frame (150 lbs) had to be carefully wrestled into positions that made access to attachment points convenient. This is an excellent bike. Top quality, super smooth and silent in use (except for my panting) The shipping carton was trashed when I accepted it, I took pictures fearing the worst, but was pleased to note no damage to the equipment at all. Assembly took me about an hour. It is rather heavy, but I was able to accomplish this by myself. The diagrams in the owners manual are rather small making identification of the smaller parts a little difficult. All small assembly items are vac-packed to a card and clearly labeled, all needed assembly tools are included - the exception being an appropriately sized wrench to adjust the leveling feet.
The seat adjustment is solid, and very comfortable for me in use. It is very easy to adjust for my wife, and then return to my settings, though there are no presets. The pedals are comfortable enough to use in socks even at higher intensity.
