I rated this item 1 only because a rating of zero was not an option. Bought this item and began to enjoy using it, admittedly sporatically. But only 82 days after I ordered it (and about 70 days after it arrived) a pedal fell off because the bolt holding it to the crank was stripped and the Chinese factory did not apply the locktite properly. I emailed the Footsmart company asking how to get the $100 product fixed or exchanged and I got the following standard, apparently computer generated, response: "Thank you for your recent email inquiry regarding our returns procedure. We do have a generous 60-day return/exchange policy. You placed your order on 04-07-11, which unfortunately exceeds the time limit. We are unable to accept a return/exchange for this order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Again, thank you for contacting Customer Care at FootSmart.com, and if you require further assistance please feel free to contact us. The picture shows the plain, not deluxe item. The deluxe item is more comfortable for me. The little cushioning provided on the grip ends makes it much more pleasant to use. Shipping is timely and appreciated!
