Mechanically designed for high-use commercial settings, the Cateye EC-C400 upright exercise bike is one of the most affordable and versatile health club bikes available for the home. The EC-C400 offers a double reduction flywheel for great riding feel and low RPM start up, true cycling geometry (including superior crank and pedal width compared to other cycles) and better biomechanics (working all the leg muscles in a correct and balanced fashion. It will also work secondary abdominals and buttocks muscles as well.

It provides 8 feedback function and 40 resistance levels using a smooth, long lasting, magnetic resistance brake system with ultra quiet belt drive. The onboard computer provides five different programs and six different readouts. The EC-C400 will increase or decrease resistance depending on pedal crank rpm to keep you at the desired watts during your workout. It has a blue back-lit LCD with horizontal split screen showing EKG heart rate and work load display.

Pre-set your desired heart rate for your workout and the EC-C400 will increase or decrease resistance as needed to maintain your heart rate to within 3 beats per minute of the target. Choose the number of watts of energy that you wish expend and the EC-C400 will increase or decrease resistance depending on pedal crank rpm to keep you at the desired watts during your workout. It offers three different types of interval profiles from which you can and specify your workout time. You can also choose from one of 31 different workload levels at any time during your workout.

The patented Cateye Data Card System enables you to customize programs or use for memory storage. This unit comes with a supply of cards and instructions for programming to accommodate multiple users and or workout profiles. The seat positions users from 4'9" to 7' tall in an ergonomically correct riding position.
