The most realistic indoor training cycle ever made, the BodyCraft Tour Trainer feels just like a road bike, with a side-to-side motion that lets you "pump" up hills and "corner" around turns. The Tour Trainer is built around an adjustable suspension system that responds to your riding motions. As a result, the bike will let you power your way through challenging courses, or lean hard to one side to make turns more efficient. The bike's 46-pound precision freewheel, meanwhile, is geared to spin at an increased ratio that's three times faster than traditional direct-drive cycles. And because the bike spins on German-made SKF sealed bearings, you'll enjoy a smooth riding performance every session.
The Tour Trainer is notably tough, with a heavy-duty steel frame, a stainless-steel seat post and handlebar stem with engraved scales, three-piece Cro-Moly cranks, and carbon-steel axles. Other details include real bicycle handlebars, a brake lever, a top-quality Velo saddle, aluminum alloy pedals with toe straps (the pedals can be switched to SPDs), a water bottle holder, and a weight capacity of 300 pounds. The Tour Trainer measures 30 by 47 by 50 inches (W x H x D).
Comment: Once you get it assembled this is a great spin bike. The spring suspension actually does make it feel like you're riding a road bike, and the handlebar setup allows a racing posture.
Assembly is moderately difficult: instructions are good, but an adjusting piece, which wasn't mentioned, fell out of a seat shaft, and it took a long time to figure out. Tension adjustment is so-so--it takes a lot of clicks to ramp it up. Also had to adjust the chain guard to eliminate noise.

Comment: This bike looked great, but when we built it we found there was no way to adjust the tension. The ajustment handle was not included with the bike. Number two there were no brake pads for the fly wheel. Never again.
